How ACC Works

For Approval

After ACC has been approved each wāhine has to contact ACC and request our services as Rongoā Providers and give them our Vendor ID. ACC will approve that and email us directly with your details and the allocated sessions that they are willing to pay for.

Due to being a Rongoā provider, these are hours rather than sessions, so when booking you can decide the amount of time you would like in our sessions. 50min or 1hr 20min session and I will invoice them accordingly. So if you have had 6 sessions allocated - that is 6 hours which can equal:

6 x 50min sessions

4 x 1hour 20min sessions

Your Exchange

All ACC bookings have a client contribution component per session, there are two tiers one that is full contribution and the other is subsided by Community Services Card. These contributions are prepaid to confirm your booking.

Full contribution $40.00.

Community Card Subsidy $20.00.

 Your First Session

The first session is 1hr 20min so we can have time for Whānaungatanga (connection) to establish trust and solid foundations. It includes Mirimiri (kōrero) That time also enables us to create a Hauora plan that's aligned and meets the needs of each Wāhine.

Ongoing Sessions

In our sessions, we work with following:

Takutaku - Incantations

Mirimiri - the Whitiwhiti kōrero (counselling and guidance)

Romiromi - Bodywork to release trauma from the cellular memory

Taiawa Steaming - an Ancient Rongoā practice that aids the pelvic area to heal and rejuvenate.

Rongoā - Plant Medicine through our Creams/Steaming packs, Teas and Tonics.

Maramataka - Tātai Arorangi - Knowledge of the Ancient Celestial Bodies.

Each week there will be a combination of these services and will be centred around the needs of our Wāhine to support her on her journey. We are super privileged to be offering these services to our community.

ACC Appointments

Sensitive Claims

One part of our Wāhinetanga journey for a lot of us is experiencing sexual violation, one thing I know from my own experiences and as a Healer, this taniwha is in every culture, every social class and in spaces that should be safe and nurturing.

Sensitive claims through ACC now allow us to work with wāhine who need safe and nurturing spaces that support their healing at their pace. These sessions are completely for Wāhine, who choose what services they need in every session, it's their time and space to laugh, to cry, to share whatever they need or want to or not. These sessions are about healing ā Wairua, ā Hinengaro, ā Tīnana, ā Ngākau and reclaiming their Mana Motuhake (Autonomy) and Rangitiratanga (Sovereignty) and most importantly help them remember how powerful and sacred they are. I love these sessions with Wāhine I have the privilege to mahi with - to be part of their journey is such an honour!

Birthing Injuries

Another part of our Wāhinetanga journey can be becoming Māmā. With that sometimes comes trauma especially in birth and the only options in the past have been mainstream ones.

We create spaces that are safe and where we acknowledge all the different dynamics that come with hapūtanga, birth and postpartum. When there are physical injuries this can affect our experience of Māmātanga and our connection to our Rangatira (pēpi) which can make, what should be a beautiful experience - super challenging.

There are also other injuries / traumas that are unseen but are felt and this is where working with our practitioners can support healing from a Hauora / Te Aō Māori perspective and where we can help our Mama to release, reset and rebalance.

Book an Appointment

Due to being a Rongoā provider, services are provided in hours rather than sessions, so when booking please choose the appropriate session based on the amount of time you would like in our sessions.
