Te Ara Ārai
Taiawa Sacred Steaming Sessions
Service Description
Te Ara Ārai is our Taiawa Sacred Steaming Sessions. This is an opportunity for Wāhine to take time out, to be nurtured and held in the ancient Wāhine ritual of our Tūpuna Kuia. We invite you to join us with your tamahine, your māmā, your aunties or sisters or just on your own to experience space and time with other Wā. Where we can kōrero, laugh and cry together and be introduced to the ways of our tūpuna that is honouring. Creating wānanga spaces that are safe and allow us to learn, to grow and to reconnect with our bodies, our cycles and our beautiful healing and self care practices. Taiawa Steaming: This is an ancient practice of our tūpuna kuia, that upholds and nurtures the mana and the wellbeing of our whare tangata.
